The course we offer provides a comprehensive coverage of the duties and responsibilities of the PM2 certificate holder. In addition, instruction on the TSSA Safety Act, Certification of Petroleum Equipment Mechanics Regulations (O. Reg. 216/01), Liquid Fuels Handling Regulations (O. Reg. 217/01) and the Liquid Fuels Handling Code are given extensive consideration.
TSSA certification theory exam is administered at the end of the course.
Upon successful completion of the TSSA exam, and proof of practical experience (Sign Off Documents), students will receive a certificate from TSSA, valid in Ontario.

Prerequisite
Petroleum Mechanic Helper (PMH) Certificate. Practical Skills/Experience Documentation: the document entitled "Practical Skills/Experience Sign-Off Documentation" is to be considered as a mandatory requirement when applying for a certificate as a Petroleum Mechanic. Sign-Off Authorities: The signing authority can be a supervising certificate holder or employer company authority. The practical sign-off document requires the applicant to attain to minimum hours of field time experience; Required Field Experience Time: 2000 hours.
