Entrance Requirements
We are an accredited TSSA Training Provider. We hold to provincial and association-issued standards. Therefore, no one will be permitted to participate in a program if the minimum entrance requirements for that specific course are not met.
Minimum Requirements
In general, the minimum entrance requirements for our school are that a student must:
- have a Grade 10 level of education or equivalent; or
- hold a current or previously held Trade Certificate; or
- pass a Superintendent approved qualifying test (see information on Wonderlic Education Solutions below); and
- be at least 18 years of age; and
- meet all course requirements to qualify as a student in the program desired (see course description for details).

Course-specific Requirements
In addition to the school's minimum requirements, individual courses may have individual entrance requirements. For example, if the course you wish to take is part of a progressive series, you must have already successfully completed the lower-level prerequisite courses to be admitted to a higher level course. If the course requires a specific prerequisite level of certification, you must have previously successfully obtained, registered and renewed such so that your certification is valid at the time of your participating in our course.
When considering registration for a program at TS Technical College, you may view the prerequisites or minimum requirements by viewing the course description for that particular course.
